REGARDING the quote in the Barry & District News of September 30, 2004, from Memories of 50 Years Ago - `A footpath leading to Coldbrook from Victoria Park was described at a meeting of the Public Works Committee on Monday, by Cllr Mrs A O Yeoman, as being in a shocking condition'. I live in Coldbrook and the footpath, if you can call it that, is still in a disgusting state. You have to fight your way through all the brambles; not very nice for pensioners.  more...
